and Diminish your influence.

Admit your grand failure

and Recede into obscurity.

Terminate your meddling –

and Let us…no, let We, the People

we, who care;

we, who are honest,

and we, who accept our flaws.

Let We, the People –

who strive for improvement,

not by buying it,

but by honoring decency.

Let We, the People

do the work we need done,
